Frame
43mm O/D 32mm bore heavy tube to BS1387 and 50mm x 5mm M.S. flat; double box section fabricated from 3.0mm plate.
Finish
Standard paint finish - surface blue undercoat to BS4800 20D45. Polyester powder coating or hot zinc spray finish also available.
Pivot
Top and bottom plates for lintel and floor fixing. Side mountings also available on request.
Spring unit
The spring mechanism is a seperate detachable unit and slides inside the vertical tube. The spring is adjustable for varying draught and traffic conditions.
 Windows
Triangular or oval perspex held between 16 s.w.g. pressed steel frames. Size: Tri 380 x 305 Oval 545 x 240
Panels
Rubber: 8mm or 12mm thickness manufactured to British Standard 490 1985. Comprising of a 2 ply polyester carcase for maximum resilience and strength. The carcase is covered with high grade rubber compounded to give high impact resistance and low abrasive wear.
Plastic: Fully transparent P.V.C. panels up to 10mm thick can be fitted into this type of frame. Half clear, half coloured P.V.C. panels or a composition of P.V.C. and rubber are also available.
We can also manufacture this door in a stainless steel frame suitable for the food industry standards.
